The “sales champion” has won again.
Recently, the International Data Corporation (IDC) released its latest China Customer Data Platform (CDP) Market Tracking Research Report, 2025H2. The report shows:
Tencent Marketing Cloud CDP ranked No. 1 in China with a 21.5% market share in 2025 H2, achieving year-over-year growth of 36.7% and continuing to lead the national market.

This marks the third consecutive time Tencent Marketing Cloud CDP has taken the top spot.
In the omnichannel CDP track, achieving leadership in both “market share” and “growth rate” is no easy feat.
IDC’s report noted: “Tencent, leveraging its MAGIC AI, Customer AI, and the WeChat ecosystem, has established a leading position with both high market share and robust growth.” By leveraging the synergy of its ecosystem entry points, omnichannel touchpoints, and marketing scenarios, Tencent Marketing Cloud continues to help enterprises build an end-to-end omnichannel growth loop covering customer acquisition, operations, conversion, and repurchase.
So how is this achieved?
// Step 1: Truly Understand Customers
With access to Tencent’s broader channel touchpoints, Tencent Marketing Cloud CDP can connect all of a company’s member assets across private and public channels as well as offline and online channels through ONE ID, and enable detailed customer segmentation and tagging, establishing a more comprehensive and interconnected data foundation that enables customers to conduct more precise marketing.
It not only directly drives sales performance, but also improves the consumer experience through personalized, human-centric outreach, fostering a two-way connection between the brand and consumers.
// Step 2: Agents Deliver White-Glove Service for Customers
In June this year, we upgraded two products, MAGIC AI + Tencent Cloud Commercial Solution 2.0, and launched the “integrated marketing and transaction” solution.
Marketing and transactions have entered the agent era, shifting from “people configuring systems” to “agents orchestrating systems”.
MAGIC AI can autonomously complete the entire marketing workflow — insight generation, operations, decision-making, execution, and performance review. Underpinning this capability is a truly action-oriented underlying framework, Marketing Harness. Agents can truly understand an enterprise’s customer data and execute based on the enterprise’s validated methodology of operations. It enables precise matching across six elements “people, products, venues, channels, timing, and coupons”.

Meanwhile, Tencent Cloud Commercial Solution 2.0 has built an “AI operations team” composed of 8 agents, with a central brain analyzing business data 24/7, continuously, proactively identifying issues and spotting emerging trends, while 7 specialized agents are respectively responsible for core scenarios such as products, content, membership, marketing, distribution, stores, and intelligent shopping assistance. Together, they seamlessly connect data insights, personalized recommendations, and transaction conversion, breaking down barriers between “marketing” and “sales” and bringing enterprises a quantifiable, sustainable growth flywheel.
Tasks that previously required collaboration across multiple roles can now be handled collaboratively by a single agent system, freeing operations teams from 80% of their execution time burden.
// Step 3: Deeply Engage with Customers’ Real Business Scenarios
As marketing and transactions are connected by a shared data foundation and agents are deployed through the entire chain of customer acquisition, operations, conversion, and repurchase, we see this continuously evolving intelligent growth system deliver sustained marketing growth for customers:
Hao Xiang Lai: Through Tencent Marketing Cloud CDP, it integrated information on 190 million members with ONE ID and rolled out dynamic, multi-touchpoint marketing campaigns on Member Days and holidays. The number of members making transactions annually has exceeded 140 million, with notable results from refined operations.
Lao Xiang Ji: Leveraging CDP, MA, and other capabilities, it enhanced the effectiveness of precision outreach, increasing monthly GMV from less than CNY 3 million to nearly CNY 30 million. Paid members now visit stores an average of 6 times per month, and super members repurchase at 3 times the rate of regular members.
NO YEYE NO TEA: It achieved segmented insights into tens of millions of users, and during a co-branded new product launch, it reached a massive user base with precision across multiple channels, delivering business growth on a million-level scale.
Songtsam Group: Through omnichannel digital operations, it established a precision marketing system covering the entire customer lifecycle, increasing its conversion rate by more than 1.5 times compared with manual operations.
DeRUCCI Group: Through CDP, MA, MAGIC AI, and other capabilities, it integrated customer data, engaged with over 18,000 high-potential customers in 3 months, and achieved a customer retention rate as high as 99%, significantly improving conversion efficiency and average customer value.
Tianjin Pharmaceutical Da Ren Tang Group: By leveraging Tencent Marketing Cloud’s MAGIC AI to enhance in-store staff’s service capabilities, it increased target patient identification by 100 times during the pilot period and raised in-store staff’s task completion rate from 25% to over 70%.

The arrival of agents has brought new possibilities to marketing growth.
Looking ahead, we will remain deeply rooted in frontline business needs, letting data and AI drive enterprises’ sustainable growth as dual engines.
